| Versioned Legislation Database (VLDB) |
The VLDB provides an advanced and polished interface to access a fully searchable database of statutes and subsidiary legislation.
The VLDB is also a revolutionary concept in statutory law research as it allows for "point-in-time" searches and retrieval of legislation. This allows users to view the law, as it was at a particular date. This means that the version of legislation relevant to your fact situation can be retrieved easily, without having to grapple with update annotations, manually reversing the update
paste-up slips in print editions of Singapore statutes and subsidiary legislation. All versions since 1 Jan 1997 are archived in VLDB, and the user only needs to specify the date relevant to
his research in order to get the precise version he needs, with future and past versions also available a few clicks away.
The VLDB also incorporates dynamic links to the Singapore Parliamentary Reports.

| Singapore Parliament Reports System |
|
A link to the Singapore Parliament Reports System allows on-line access to the full text of Parliamentary Debates. It contains information from June 1977 to the current year. With a powerful search engine, the SPRS allows users to quickly refer to Hansard to ascertain the parliamentary intention behind a particular piece of legislation.

| Results of Magistrate's Appeals Database |
|
Provides access to access digests of Magistrate's Appeals heard in the High Court since 1993. The digests provide basic information about the appeal (MA Number, Offence, Sentence, etc.) as well as editorial annotations about the appeals.

LWB is accessible as follows :

| Subscription for Law firms and corporations, Statutory bodies, Organisations with legal department, Organisations without a legal department |
- Monthly subscriptions provide unlimited access to the databases under the Legal Workbench. Users can browse, search and print the databases currently available under the Legal Workbench.
- The monthly subscription scheme is only available to law firms and corporations, statutory bodies & other organisations with a legal department.
- Subscriptions are based on the number of lawyers within that firm and firms cannot subscribe for a lesser number. The sharing of IDs and passwords is not allowed and would constitute a breach of the terms and conditions of the subscription service.
- Singapore law firms (excluding offshore law firms) can subscribe based on the preferential rate in the table provided below. The standard rate is applicable to offshore law firms, statutory bodies and corporations with a legal department. Subscription charges for local corporations and other local agencies without a legal department will be considered on a case by case basis with a minimum of $252 + GST per month.

| Time-based access for non-subscribers |
|
Non-subscribers who wish to access the databases provided under The Legal Workbench can purchase hourly blocks of access time with payment by credit card (VISA / MASTERCARD).
